SAN FRANCISCO—Rapper Juicy J, 40, was hospitalized before his concert in San Francisco on Saturday, May 23 due to shortness of breath.
He was admitted to Saint Francis Memorial Hospital.
Following the incident, the rap star tweeted, “I wanna apologize to my fans in San Fran I had to rush to the hospital I’m having shortness of breath I love you all pray for me.”
He shared a photo of himself in the hospital bed via Instagram alongside a caption that read, “The Dr said I’m Exhausted I haven’t been getting enough rest but I’ll be ok San Fran my Apologies i will make it up #THCTOUR still going strong.”
Juicy J updated his fans of his well-being by sharing a photo of a poster that featured his next performance date. He captioned the shot: “I’m feeling a lot better, just need to take it easy. The show must go on…The Hustle Continues! #thctour get ready for my show tonight in Boise!”
He continued his tour the night he was released from the hospital.
