LOS ANGELES—Los Angeles Dodgers fans everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief after tests showed no damage to Matt Kemp’s knee Wednesday morning.
Tuesday night at Coors Field in Colorado, Kemp collided full-speed with the center field wall while trying to flag down a fly ball. Kemp rolled around on the floor and reached for his knee, clearly writhing in pain.
Kemp’s jaw was also examined, also passing all tests.
Kemp will be out of the lineup today against the Colorado Rockies, but the damage looked a lot worse than it actually was.
