HOLLYWOOD HILLS—“Succession” actor Alan Ruck, 67, crashed his Rivian truck into the building of Raffalo’s Pizza at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard on Tuesday, October 31. It was reported via the Citizen App that a 911 call was made at 9:16 p.m.
According to reports, the actor’s vehicle rear-ended a vehicle at a traffic light, struck another car in the intersection before his truck collided into the building. The actor was not injured in the incident, but the Los Angeles Fire Department noted a 32-year-old was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. A total of four individuals were treated at the scene after the accident. There were no reports of any other injuries during the incident.
A massive hole was left on the side of the building as a result of the incident. The vehicle that was rear-ended sustained serious damage to the back. The region of Raffalo’s Pizza was boarded up after the incident. Authorities reported there were no signs of DUI in the crash. Ruck remained at the scene as the damage was evaluated and those injured were treated.
Ruck is widely known for his role in the 1986 comedy series “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” He recently starred in the HBO drama series “Succession” alongside Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin and Jeremy Strong. He recently earned a Primetime Emmy Nomination for his work on the series.
