SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department reported on Monday, November 27 that they are investigating a fatal stabbing that transpired on Saturday, November 25. The SFPD reported at approximately 12:25 a.m., officers from Mission Station responded to the area of 24th Street and Potrero Avenue regarding a vehicle collision with injuries. While en route, dispatch advised that a vehicle had struck a business on the 1100 block of Potrero Avenue.
Officers arrived on scene and found a 27-year-old male and a 34-year-old male who both had life-threatening injuries from apparent stab wounds. Early investigation determined that both victims were stabbed at another location and may have been attempting to self-transport to a nearby hospital.
Officers provided aid and summoned medics to the scene who transported both males to the hospital. The 27-year-old male died at the hospital from injuries sustained. The name of the victim has not yet been disclosed to the public.
