SAN FRANCISCO—On Friday, February 23, the San Francisco Police Department Narcotics officers announced they obtained search warrants for six subjects, three residences in Hayward, California, one resident of San Leandro, as well as numerous vehicles. These warrants were part of an ongoing investigation initiated by San Francisco Police Department Narcotics Detail to intercept deadly drugs that were on their way to be sold in the Tenderloin.
The SFPD reported that during their investigation, narcotics officers spotted the individuals conduct illegal narcotics transactions and recognized the buyers as street-level dealers who frequent the Tenderloin District.
On February 21, the search warrants were served by members of the SFPD Narcotics Unit with assistance from members of the Tenderloin Taskforce, the Fugitive Recovery Enforcement Team, the DEA San Francisco Office, the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, and the National Guard.
The searches yielded over 44 pounds of illegal narcotics including more than eight pounds of fentanyl and more than 32 pounds of methamphetamine. Officers seized an un-serialized firearm, also known as a ghost gun, and several thousand dollars in U.S. currency.
The following individuals were arrested:
-Cristofer Raudales-Canaca, aka “Jared Antonio Canaca-Arias,” 19-year-old male.
-Misael Alfonso Raudales Canaca, 26-year-old male
-Enis Angelica Cruz-Arteage aka “Angelica,” a 50-year-old female
-Angelica Michell Velasquez-Cruz, aka “Dafne”, 26-year-old female.
The four adults were booked on numerous drug-related charges at Alameda County Jail.
“I want to thank our outstanding officers who spent months investigating this case,” said Police Chief Bill Scott. “Their work led to a large amount of narcotics being taken off the streets and the arrest of four high-level drug dealers. Our officers will continue to work diligently on these cases and the SFPD is committed to sustaining the effort to dismantle the drug markets in San Francisco.”
