SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department indicated that a business located on the 3000 block of 16th Street in the city’s Mission District. The vandalism is being investigated as hate-related.

The SFPD reported that on October 6 officers from the Mission Station responded to a vandalism incident at 1:37 p.m. The investigation discovered while a protest was taking place at 16th and Valencia Streets that an unknown suspect spraypainted graffiti on the exterior of the building. No arrests have been made in the case.
