HOLLYWOOD—Oscar winner, Nicole Kidman, 47, recently suffered the passing of her father.
Dr. Antony Kidman, 75, passed away after suffering a suspected heart attack at a restaurant in a hotel in Singapore on September 12.
Keith Urban, country singer and husband of Kidman, has been by his wife’s side through her father’s death.
Urban shared on his Facebook page, “I’m so very sorry that I cannot perform this weekend. We are in a deep state of grief at the passing of Nic’s Father and are heading to Australia to be with family. We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for their love, prayers and support through this devastating loss.”
Kidman got her breakthrough role in the 1989 thriller “Dead Calm.” She has been acknowledged for her past performances in films that include Oscar nominations “Moulin Rouge,” “Rabbit Hole” and winning the Lead Actress Academy Award for “The Hours.”
